So, this time around writing a book, I've found a heck of a lot more inner blocks that have come up!
The book that I'm writing at the moment is emotionally draining! 😞
I feel like my energy is being sucked out some of the days when I'm working on it.
This wasn't this intense when I wrote my other books. 📚
Since I've had a lot of days where I avoided writing or working on my book, I've now found some great tools that help me!
For instance, turning writing into a ritual! ✍️
Now, before I start writing or working on my book daily, I do the same routine.
🔥 First off, around the same time, I go to the place that I've turned into my writing nook (my office space).
🔥 I stare up at my why that I printed out and put on the wall.
🔥 Then, I light a candle.
🔥 After that, I take three deep breaths.
🔥 Some days I play calming music.
🔥 Lastly, I put my hand on my heart and I say, "I'm here. I'm ready."
I can see that this has a huge impact on me getting into a good mindset to write, even when the story feels like it's going to shatter my heart into a million pieces!!
