⚔️ Forge Trials #4: The Cold Shower Challenge
The Stoics believed that willingly embracing discomfort strengthens both the body and the mind.
As Seneca wrote:
"Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body."
Today's Forge Trial:
Take a cold shower today.
No shortcuts. No excuses.
It's not about the water, it's about proving to yourself that you can choose discomfort instead of avoiding it. Every time you do, you strengthen your discipline.
If you've never taken a cold shower before, start with your normal warm shower. When you're ready, turn the handle all the way to cold and focus on slowing your breathing. Don't fight the discomfort, control your response to it. That's the real lesson.
When you've completed the challenge, come back and comment with one word only:
Done. 💪
