What Are You Avoiding?
Every man has something he's been putting off. A difficult conversation. A workout. A business decision. A habit he knows he needs to break. The longer we avoid it, the more power we give it. Marcus Aurelius reminded himself not to waste time debating what a good man should be, but to be one. Today, identify the one thing you've been avoiding and commit to taking the first step before the day is over. It doesn't have to be finished. It just has to be started. What's one thing you've been avoiding, and what's the first step you'll take today? Let's hold each other accountable.

New: Foundations of Stoicism
Over the last little while, I've been thinking about the direction of our community. It occurred to me that many of us are focused on becoming stronger, more disciplined men, but some of us may never have had the opportunity to learn the actual foundations of Stoicism. Understanding where these ideas came from and why they've stood the test of time gives much more meaning to everything we do here. Because of that, I've put together a new Foundations of Stoicism course inside the Classroom. Whether you're brand new to The Stoic Forge or you've been here since the beginning, I'd encourage everyone to work through it. It'll give you a solid understanding of the philosophy that this entire brotherhood is built upon. One quick note: As you complete each lesson, you'll see a checkbox in the upper-right corner of the lesson. Be sure to click it once you've finished. That helps us keep track of everyone's progress as members move through the Forge, from the Foundations course and eventually through Level 1 all the way to Level 6. It also helps us continue improving the experience for everyone. I'm looking forward to hearing what lessons resonate with you the most. 👀 And if you've got a keen eye, you might notice a few other things sitting in the Classroom. They're not quite ready yet... but more tools, training, and resources are on the way to help you build greater discipline, strength, and character. Your Stoic Brother Cody

🔥 WELCOME TO THE STOIC FORGE 🔥
🏛️ Sunday Stoa | If it is not right...
"If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it." — Marcus Aurelius Every decision shapes your character. Integrity isn't measured by the big moments everyone sees. It's built in the quiet choices no one else will ever know about. Did you keep your word? Did you choose honesty over convenience? Did your actions match the man you claim to be? The Stoics understood that character isn't something you're born with, it's something you forge through repeated action. What's one area of your life where your actions need to better match your values? Share it in the comments. This brotherhood is built on honesty, not perfection.

The Stoics believed we exist to serve the common good. This week, do one meaningful act of service without expecting recognition. Help a neighbor. Call a family member. Buy someone coffee. Volunteer your time. When you've done it, simply comment: Done. No explanation required.
