This is the first time I've tried Southern Draw's Manzanita, which translates to "Little Apple." It's got a reddish hue to the wrapper, which is a Habano hybrid. It's a tasty one with a blast of spice right away that fades in intensity but doesn't go away totally.
About 2 inches in, some sweetness comes through along with leather.
This baby kept bringing the flavors and taste right until the end. It is a cigar that doesn't quite fade but isn't so strong that it gets bitter.
It's rolled at AJ's Esteli location, so I knew buying some that the odds it being good were there. I didn't expect how good it would be.
This cigar is going to go in my radar, in my rotation and humidor.
