First time with a MF Blue
I'm assuming it's easy to craft a strong cigar. As a layperson, I would believe it may take more skill to create one that is more nuanced and lighter, especially if your MF cigars are known for the "Pepin spice." There is nothing wrong with that. I enjoy the blast or burst of pepper on every, I believe, MF cigar I have tried.
So to read some reviews calling the Blue "weak" had me wondering briefly if this MF cigar may have missed the mark.
No, the mark got moved. This is not your usual MF cigar, though I'm not suggesting the others in the MF family are the same. But this one is crafted to be smooth and creamy with layered notes of cocoa, light leather, some floral and earthiness. But the darker flavors are staying in the background.
This shows to me that this cigar was well planned with a lighter experience in mind. On that note, it is a winner.
It won't blow your hair back but will give you time to think about each puff and enjoy.
