Recipe of the Week: Super Easy Kid-Friendly Sourdough Scones! 🍪 Who's Baking with Their Kiddos Today?
Hey Mama's! As promised, here's your free recipe of the week: these easy, kid-friendly sourdough scones (using discard!) are tender, buttery, and absolutely delicious. No fancy skills needed, perfect for little hands to mix, shape, and add fun extras like chocolate chips or berries. I'm whipping them up this morning with my kiddos (expecting messy counters and big smiles!), and I'll drop a photo below once they're out of the oven. Grab the full recipe linked below. - Are you baking these today (or soon) with your kids? - What mix-ins are you adding? (Chocolate chips? Blueberries? Sprinkles?) - Drop a photo of your kiddos helping, your dough, or the final scones! - New members: Jump in and say hi—what's one thing you're excited to try? As always feel free to invite a homeschool mom friend who needs this easy win! I can't wait to see your creations, best photo/story gets a shoutout + extra leaderboard love. Let's fill the feed with scone joy! 🔥🍞
You Have To Try These Sourdough Sandwich Loaves!
My daughter and I bake these loaves every Sunday as part of our homeschool rhythm for our family of five 🤍 We double this recipe and make four loaves to get us through the week, practicing measuring, doubling quantities, and planning ahead. It’s a simple, low-stress recipe that doesn’t take much time, and my daughter especially loves helping during shaping—the risen dough makes it such a hands-on and satisfying learning moment 🍞✨ If you try this recipe, my daughter and I would love to see your loafs. Post them here in the comments!
