🟡 Monday Mood Meme 🙂
It’s Family Day here in Alberta, and in some other provinces across Canada, which means some of us had a long weekend… But for others, it’s just a regular work Monday. So tell us... What’s your Monday mood today? How did Monday show up for you?

🟡 Monday Mood Meme 🙂
☕ Coffee, Lunch & Learn, Chat Meet-Up:
I’m planning an informal Coffee Chat or Lunch & Learn toward the end of the month, and I’d love for you to be part of it. This will be a relaxed, come-as-you-are space. No presentations. No pressure. Just conversation and connection. Nothing is fixed yet. This space is shaped by what you want to talk about. Is there something you’d like us to chat about? Please drop your ideas or suggestions in the chat. Even a single word or question is welcome. More details on the date coming soon. I’m really looking forward to connecting with you.
👋 Hi I’m Shelley! 😀
Hi All, My name is Shelley, I’m a social worker based in Brisbane, Australia. I’ve been practicing for 25 years and have worked across homelessness, school counselling, youth mental health, victims of crime, family and relationships counselling post separation counselling and mediation, critical incidents and EAP counselling, executive well-being coaching. I now work in private practice providing counselling, supervision, and leadership development. I joined this community as I value connection and reflection and being in private practice can be lonely. I’m also building my own Skool community for new leaders. I look forward to sharing the trials and tribulations ofthe amazing work we do.
Let's Have that Coffee/Tea Chat
Hi everyone, I wanted to pop in and say I’m sorry I’ve been a bit quiet for a while. I haven’t been entirely well and needed to take some time off. That pause gave me space to reflect, reprocess, rejuvenate, and regroup in ways I didn’t know I needed at the time. I’m back now, with a bit more clarity and a new focus. I’m hoping to start hosting short, informal live webinars each week. They won’t be polished or overly structured, more like thoughtful ramblings and reflections on things that have been sitting with me, and hopefully with you too. This week, I’ve been thinking a lot about other ways of knowing, particularly Indigenous practices and wisdom that we too often overlook in social work and mental health spaces. I keep coming back to the DSM-5 and how much of our social, cultural, relational, and historical lives get left out of diagnosis. I’ve been wondering how Indigenous ways of knowing could help us think about mental health in more holistic, grounded, and humane ways. I’d really love to hear your thoughts on this. And honestly… it feels long overdue, let’s have that coffee meet and chat. We can talk about this, or anything else that’s been on your mind. No agenda, no pressure. Just conversation and connection. More details coming soon. I’m really looking forward to being back in this space with you.

Hey Evetta Solomon, The Social Work Circle 🚀
Hi Evetta Solomon! I just explored The Social Work Circle, love the community you’re building. I have been helping community owners launch High-Engagement Skool communities since last 2 years on skool, and I’ve got a FREE "Full community setup" no-strings attached, just for you. (normally $100). 👉 See the 2‑min rundown & book a slot: Community Launch You’ll get: polished and structured copywriter About Page, AI‑designed icon & cover image, and a launch‑ready community in just 30 min. No pressure, just a smoother launch and tidy backend. (Heads‑up: Some people enjoy the struggle of building a skool community infrastructure from scratch and wouldn't want professional help, so I myself will delete this post in 4 days, and quietly exit if you’re busy (I don't wanna spam or disturb your community, I respect the vibe 🙏). Want to chat later? Just DM “Let’s Build” and I will stay here longer to help later.) Looking forward to helping The Social Work Circle Grow & shine!⭐ (Explore More) Community Launch
