Today is my birthday. And if I’m being honest, more has gone wrong than right.Some days the bad feels heavier than the good. But even in that, I keep choosing forward. I’m building anyway. Dreaming anyway. Showing up anyway. That’s part of why I started my M.Ed.—with the hope of one day creating something meaningful for single moms. My journey, the constant choice of my kids over myself, and seeing how many of us are quietly carrying so much… all of it fuels that vision. I know real change starts within. So even on the days when giving up feels easier, I’m committed to pushing through, staying motivated, and becoming the woman my kids can be proud of. Another year older. Still standing. Still hopeful.Still building.

Hey ladies! It’s my birthday. I’m officially 37! I pray this year is better than the last. I’m thankful for another year of life. Tbh I haven’t celebrated my birthday in years. For me it’s just another day. This morning my kiddos woke me up with a homemade yummy cake , balloons and a card. My eldest is 15 and works and said mama I wanted to get you something from us. That is the best present I could have ever asked for.
