Support doesn’t mean being trapped.
It doesn’t mean you “owe” someone. That’s an old program that whispers: If I let them pay for this, if I receive help, I’m indebted. I’m stuck. But look at how God actually works. He can’t walk down here and serve you dinner Himself, but He can send someone with a meal. He can’t personally crawl under your car to fix your flat, but He can nudge a Good Samaritan to stop and change your tire. You don’t feel trapped then, do you? You just feel taken care of. The same thing happens with money, with relationships, with daily provision. God is always delivering. Always supporting. It takes faith to receive support without attaching fear or shame. But the truth is: you are not trapped. You are sourced. You are backed. You are carried. And the more you remember who you are — a daughter of God, inherently worthy, always provided for — the easier it gets to trust, to receive, to let life show you just how held you actually are. Journal Prompt:Where in my life am I resisting support because I’m afraid it will trap me? What would it look like to receive it as God’s provision instead?
