Welcome to the Dog Adventure Club!
Welcome to the Dog Adventure Club. This is a community built around one simple idea: make every day with your dog an adventure Here is how the daily training feed works: Every day, post your check-in using this format: Day 1 — what you did and where (training session, sniff walk at the park, hide and seek in the backyard, scatter feed in the garden, whatever it was) Then attach a short video, photo, or written description of the session. A few things to keep in mind when posting: Keep videos short. 30 to 60 seconds is plenty. Trim out the waiting around and the bits where nothing is happening. Written descriptions are just as welcome as video. Tell us what you set up, how your dog went, and one thing you noticed. There is no minimum time. Two minutes counts. Ten minutes counts. A sniff walk to the end of the street counts. What you can post each day: Adventures or outings Training sessions Enrichment games Any nose work or scentwork session The leaderboard tracks your consistency. The most active member each month wins a free 30-minute one-on-one Zoom call with me to discuss everything or anything dogs and training. Show up for your dog every day. That is all this is. See you in the feed. Ave

Day 25 - Lyon
What a delightful day of mini training sessions we have had. It's been a busy work day as well so I am feeling very accomplished 😇 Morning session outside - I asked for some basic heel and retrieve and he struggled to do any of it. Hormones starting to get in a muddle I think. Next session - a retrieve exercise indoors with heel and front on a platform. So fun. Next session - took those exercises outdoors at the start of our walk and he nailed them. Walked for about 30 mins and did another 3 mini sessions one of which was side steps. He did well it's been a fun, cloudy, drizzly day - we were both made for Scotlands usual weather ⛅️⛈️🌧🌦☁️ you can keep your blazing sunshine 🌞 🤣

Day 22 & 23 - Lyon and side step.
Hot hot hot the last 2 days and no way to escape it. Yesterday was a write off but today has been cooler so we got to play outside in the shade. @Fiona Austin here's where we are at with side step. We've done about 5 sessions over 4 days. I'm cautious about doing too many sessions but perhaps I'm being over cautious, what do you think? I'm just randomly dispensing the food, is the aim for him to follow my hand rather than learn the steps independently?
