Stand firm in the Truth
Psalm 25:5
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
The Hebrew word here for truth is אֱמֶת ('ĕmeṯ). This word conveys a sense of dependability, firmness, and reliability. It is spelled with the first, middle, and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet; thus the rabbis concludes that truth upholds the first and the last of God’s creation, and everything in between!
