[START HERE] Welcome!
I’m really glad you’re here. You didn’t join this space by accident. The Remote Business Lab was created to be a safe, focused learning environment for people who want clarity as they build a remote business, without pressure, overwhelm, or hustle culture. This is not a space to rush. This is a space to learn, reflect, and grow with intention. Here’s how to use this community: 🌱 Start with Clarity If you’re in Clarity Circle, begin with the guided video walking you through the free remote business guide. Take your time. Clarity always comes before confidence. 🔨 Build at Your Pace You don’t need to do everything at once. Engage with what feels aligned, ask questions, and reflect honestly. 🚀 Execution Comes Later As you grow, there are deeper levels of support available. Move when you’re ready, not because you feel rushed. A few simple community expectations: • This is a respectful, supportive space • Questions are welcome • Progress matters more than perfection • Comparison isn’t helpful here, your journey is your own My role here is to teach and guide. Your role is to show up honestly and stay open. If you’d like to introduce yourself, start by sharing: 👉 What led you here, and what kind of clarity you’re hoping to gain this year. Welcome to The Remote Business Lab. We’re building something meaningful here. — Xenia ✨welcome

Day 10: Write Your Bio
Good morning! Day 10 might feel vulnerable. You're writing about yourself, your skills, and who you help. I get it. I struggled with this too. After 20 years as an Executive Assistant, I still felt weird 'selling' myself. Talking about what I was good at felt uncomfortable. But here's what I learned: Your bio isn't bragging. It's helping potential clients understand if you're the right fit for them. You're not trying to impress everyone. You're trying to connect with YOUR people. Keep it simple. Keep it clear. And make it about THEM, not just you. What problem do you solve? Who do you help? Why should they trust you? That's your bio. TODAY'S TASK: Write a short bio (3-5 sentences) that explains: 1. What you do 2. Who you help 3. Why you're qualified (skills/experience) Example: 'I'm [Name], a Virtual Assistant or Remote Business Owner specializing in [your area of expertise] for small businesses and nonprofits. With 10+ years of experience in project management and operations, I help business owners reclaim their time by handling the tasks that keep them stuck behind their desks. Let me take care of the details so you can focus on growing your business.' Write yours. Save it. You'll use this everywhere. SHARE YOUR BIO in the comments (or just the first sentence if you're feeling shy). Let's practice talking about what we do!

Day 9: Week 2 - Set Up Your Meeting Tools
Good morning! Day 9 is about preparing for the moment you've been working toward: your first discovery call. When I landed my first potential client, I scrambled to figure out how to schedule a call. I didn't have systems in place. It was messy. Don't make that mistake. Set up your Zoom and Calendly accounts NOW, before you need them. When a potential client says 'let's talk,' you want to look professional and prepared. Zoom is free for 40-minute calls. Calendly is free for basic scheduling. That's all you need to start. These tools don't just make you look professional - they save you time. No more back-and-forth emails trying to find a time that works. **TODAY'S TASK:** 1. Set up a free Zoom account - Use your business email - Test it to make sure it works - Bookmark your personal meeting room link 2. Set up a free Calendly account - Connect your calendar - Set your availability - Create a '30-minute discovery call' event type - Copy your Calendly link (you'll need this for Day 18) **COMMENT BELOW** when you've set up both tools. Tell us: Are you nervous or excited about discovery calls? Both? 💜
