How to be here (without trying to fix yourself)
Most people walk into spaces like this with a habit. It’s the habit of asking:
“Tell me what to do.”
“What’s the answer?”
“How do I make this stop?”
That habit makes sense. It’s a survival mechanism, and it has probably kept you going for a long time.
But this space works differently.
In the Locker Room, reading is participation. You don’t need to post to "count." If you read something, and it lands, and you feel it then that is enough.
We prioritize recognition over resolution. This is about seeing the patterns clearly, not breaking them yet. That comes later. If you catch yourself thinking "That’s me", just pause there. You don’t need to do anything with it yet. Noticing is the win.
Please know that you are not behind. There is no pace here. No progress bar. No expectation to catch up to anyone else.
