As we navigate our health, well-being, and daily lives it's important to establish a routine. We can observe routines in nature through patterns and cycles. Just to keep it simple let's look at the macro cycle of the seasons. During spring life awakens. Energy is used to rejuvenate the growth of systems. Summer time is when those systems go into full drive mode for production. Fall becomes the time of depleting energy, harvest, plants go to seed, and nutrients are being stored. Winter is when the natural world rests. Energy that has been stored during fall is now being transfered to the roots of plants and for most animals it is being used to grow new life.
We can model this pattern of routine in our daily lives much the same way. Wake up fresh in the morning, be productive, wind down, and rest. In this way we live along side the pattern of energy that nature provides.
As you reflect on this idea consider how your daily routine is now and where you can make shifts to be in alignment with nature systems.
