Regen-Vet Retreat #1
This last week was spent in Oregon with my team mates, my buddies, my brothers. These three men and I have known each other for over 20 years. They have supported this thing, Old Earth Farms, I've been working on since day one. Timing is everything in nature and it holds true to human nature as well. For years we have talked about meeting up, have met here or there for occasions but never to just be in the same place for no other reason than to be there. This had to happen. It's a collective feeling that it could not have come at any better time. What started out, in my mind, as a structured retreat with daily lessons and organized time frames quickly became something so much better. There were lessons, practical applications, and examples found in nature, but it all happened organically. Which, in the end was the real point anyway. For life to find itself through it's own means. We all came away from the experience with a lighter load to bear, we learned from each other, we went our separate ways at the end ready for whatever was waiting. We did so with resilience we did so as Regenerative Veterans. Or I don't know.?.....

Let's welcome @Jared Sahlberg to the community. He is doing some work with food for veterans. Salhlberg, can you explain what you're working on?

Page Update
Alright fellas, the core of this community is here now that @John Reischman finally checked his email. Haha. I have written a syllabus for the introductory course that is essentially a FRAGO for what our mission is. Think of it as the 50 meter target. Video production is in the works and we will finish up by the end of the month. My plan is to be at the gate and rolling the first of April. Eleven days and a wake up boys.

Ready, Set, Go
Alright, so I'm still working on building this thing up here. I just updated membership pricing to reflect people's level of commitment. We'll see how this works out. This page had over 70 views from Facebook since its inception, and we currently have three members. That's on me, guys. I may have jumped the gun on invites before I really had anything set up. This thing will grow, and we will be able to see the real effects of our work. As with anything in life, starting slow and building a solid foundation in understanding is key. @James Foster @RichGuin John Martin do either of you have questions or advice to get folks involved? Everyone loves the concept and what this is. It just seems to end there. I also upgraded y'all's membership to reflect the new system. With that being said, let's step out and get to it.

Sound off
Welcome to the community. We're here building this thing together so keep that in mind as you go forward. There's no such thing as a dumb question, but some of you probably mopped sunshine at some point, so ask anyways. It only benefits the team as a whole. That being said, sound off with who you are, branch of service, and a goal you're working towards.
