Friday Reset + A Hard Check This Week 💛
Alright, ladies, as we close out this week, I want to share something I was really convicted on this week
I found myself choosing what felt urgent or pressing instead of doing what God clearly told me to do first.
Whether it was sending an email, reaching out to someone, or focusing on a specific task, I kept allowing other things to take my attention.
And in that moment, I felt the weight of it.
Because I teach this same principle to my children.
Do what you’re told to do first!
And I realized… I wasn’t doing that with God.
At the same time, I was reading through the book of Daniel and was reminded that one day, we will all have to give an account.
And it made me pause and ask myself:
I can confidently say I’m showing up for my family.
I can say I’m doing well in certain areas.
But how confident am I in how I’m stewarding what God has called me to build in this season?
So as we reflect on this week, I want to invite you into something deeper than just “what got done.”
Ask yourself:
• What did God place on my heart to do this week?
• Did I do that first?
• Or did I let other things take their place?
And if the week didn’t go how you planned, there is still time.
Not to do everything.
But to take one step.
Our reminder this week was simple:
Even 25 focused minutes is progress.
That could look like:
• working through a lesson
• making progress on what you’re building
• or even taking time to understand what might be holding you back through the Enneagram assessment
Every step matters.
Every step is stewardship.
Take a few minutes today and do the thing you’ve been putting off.
