What do you do for a living?
What do you do during the week for work? If you no longer work what did you use to do? For many years I was an accountant/commercial manager. It was only at 40 that I returned to a creative field (where I should have been all along). I started by doing an intensive graphic design course and I loved it. While I was finding my creative feet, I served on independent school boards. It was in these roles I got to experience what good working relationships between men and women can achieve. Your turn.

Who is a visual person?
And if so do you like context first or do you dive straight into the detail? In other words do you zoom out on a map to get the general direction first or do you zoom in to see if you need to turn left or right next? Our Moodboard Scavenger Hunt will cover both. Join me 11-20th May. 1 task per day. P.s. This image is an example of a moodboard an 11 year old girl created for her bedroom.

What if you could create your own pocket square colours?
When you start working with natural dyes, like what we are doing with red cabbage, something interesting happens… You’re no longer choosing from what’s available. You’re creating the colour. With different mordants and pH changes, red cabbage can shift into: • Pale cool blues • Soft greens • Dusty purples • Muted pinks all from one ingredient! But here’s the real question: Which of those colours actually suit you? Because they won’t all work equally well. Some will make you look fresh and clear. Others will feel flat or slightly off, even if the colour itself is beautiful. This is where I believe your colour type becomes really useful. Instead of guessing…you start recognising which versions of blue, green, or pink are yours. People start to notice your face first, not what you are wearing. It is why I have included the Fabric Formula in your goodies when you get to Level 5. The Fabric Formula will give you clarity. So check your leaderboard to see where you are at and then let us help you get there.

If you were a bird?
Quick quiz - if you came back as a bird (who knows - maybe) which bird would you like to come back as and why. Mine is a cockatoo Now not as colourful as some birds but I love the yellow head gear and a crisp white suits me They can't sing all that well and have a screech that can be heard a mile away But they can talk, are as cheeky as all get up, smart as anything and they like hanging out chilling with their mates and family - like in their hundreds sometimes. That sounds like a fun way to spend a day.

Have you played this with your kids?
They draw on your back and you attempt to replicate the strokes on your page. He was drawing a tree. I thought it was a cat initially which then skewed everything after. It’s amazing how our preconceptions impact a process and an outcome. I just shared this in @Christine Vabre watercolour group but thought it was great for here too - perfect for the percolate stage of our creativity.
