In this tutorial, we use Galapagos with the LB View Percent component to optimize a tower for the best possible views. By adjusting three key parameters—X-axis displacement, Y-axis displacement, and rotation per floor—we evolve the building’s position and form to minimize view obstruction from surrounding buildings while maximizing overall visibility across the site. This workflow shows how evolutionary solvers can support smarter, performance-driven design decisions.
