I want to EMPOWER Gen X workers and CHANGE THE NARRATIVE about Gen X by those leading corporate America.
I believe Gen X is the MOST TECHNOLOGICALLY ADAPTABLE GENERATION IN HUMAN HISTORY. In our work life we've managed everything from Dial-Up to AI. We learned, mastered, adapted, applied, succeeded and moved on.
From the internet, e-commerce, social media, digital products, databases, apps, B2B, 3D printing, and so on. We never flinched. We never complained. We just DID THE JOB, no matter the tech.
So, when I see our generation openly DISMISSED online, getting LAID OFF, having difficulty RETAINING JOBS, or finding new ones, partly because of the latest and greatest tech, AI, I shake my head.
AI isn't bigger than us. As a matter of fact, if we master it, our history and skill, our work ethic and interpersonal skills, make us the PERFECT generation to lead AI efforts in companies worldwide.
So, I'm building this community for us to learn, network, mentor and advocate for each other.
