Falling in love all over again ❤️
Have any of you been in a long term relationship where you have fallen in love all over again with that person? Me and my wife have been together for 25 years this year and we have a wonderful relationship but sometimes you just take each other for granted as the years go by but recently me and my wife feel like we did when we first met back in 2001 and it feels amazing. We both feel like big kids all over again. It feels like I've been given some kind of love potion. She blames the testosterone from me working out 🤣🤣 It's important to keep your relationship healthy and to continue doing things that you both love together and to have that spark. Right. Enough of the soppy stuff. Missed you all on here. It's good to be back. Has this ever happened to any of you?
Do you think changing bad habits is easy?
In my case, strangely enough, the more I try to change, the more I feel like it doesn't work out. However, there are moments when I suddenly stop doing a bad habit. It happens when I feel my life is in danger or when it significantly disrupts my daily life. It seems like when a situation like this arises, the bad habit completely disappears. How do you all get rid of bad habits?
Finding a new direction
I found a sliding door that leads directly into a brick wall, which is either a major architectural oversight or the most honest metaphor I’ve seen all year. It’s a pretty solid reminder that you can put in the work to open a door to a new direction, only to find out the universe decided to lay some masonry in your path while you weren't looking. The thing is, you don’t actually know if a path is a portal or a dead end until you give the handle a tug. Sometimes the door opens to a secret room, and sometimes it just opens to more work. If you hit a wall, you just pivot and find a different door to knock on. It’s better to know for sure than to spend your life wondering what was behind the heavy metal. Worst case scenario, you just move on to the next opening and hope there's less mortar involved.
