It isn’t "all in your head." It’s in your nervous system. ⚡️
I keep hearing from women who feel like they are "failing" at managing stress. But when we talk, I realize they aren't just worried—they are experiencing a full-body takeover.
Midlife anxiety doesn't always look like a racing mind. Often, it looks like:
  • The "Internal Hum" – Feeling like your cells are vibrating even when you're still.
  • The "Zero to Sixty" – A hair-trigger startle response or a "snap" that comes out of nowhere.
  • The "Sensory Wall" – Where the TV is too loud, the lights are too bright, and the kitchen is "too much."
  • The "Wired-Tired" Loop – You are exhausted to your core, yet your body won't let you drop into deep sleep.
If this is you, I want you to hear this: You aren't overreacting. You are regulating under harder biological conditions.
I just hit publish on a deep dive into why this happens and how to start calming the physical "buzz."
Check-in below: Which one of these has been your "body story" this week? (The Internal Hum, The Zero to Sixty, or the Sensory Wall?) 👇
