Serendipitous dog art

I recently went to a local gallery where a dog trainer friend was exhibiting his sculptures, which he makes from reclaimed materials, mostly steel. One of his creations especially caught my eye because it immediately reminded me of Squeak, with the curled over tail, full of sass and spunk.

Serendipitously, I had been gifted some birthday money that allowed me to put a red dot on the artwork, and on the weekend, when the exhibition finished, it came home with me. It makes me think of my Tiny Dancer every time I see it, and reminds me of how much I admire who she was.
