Beyond exhaustion
I need to step away from most of my social platforms for a while. Prepping to move away from Tasmania is proving to be a considerably more difficult journey than anticipated and I'm finding myself slipping into a burnout spiral. Today I am forced to sell my older pony, and it's weighing extremely heavy. Everything I currently know, and have worked for is being sorted through, packed up, sold or left behind. The last 26 years of my life stripped bare. I know this needs to happen to move forward to create a bigger brighter future and a better life, but it is brutally confronting and exhausting on so many levels. There is nobody here to help and I have to navigate this task alone. My dogs keep me grounded, and so far this community has kept me sane. But right now contributing to yet another platform is leaving me far too drained. I must away to fully submerge deep in PAWS, I will sit in on community calls when I can and will read but not post. My inbox is always open. Big love x

@Birdy O'Sheedy I have to use it while I still have access. This will be one of the hardest parts to leave behind. Sticks down the river....
My July
There's more about this month than I should share, but suffice to say there's been plenty of fuckery most foul. I became active just at the right time to participate in PAWS in July. What was going on here, fit perfectly with my other practices; so much so it felt like a natural addition. Right away, I felt welcome and in a small way, a part of something. I was challenged to participate and share. I witnessed others being bold and honest and supportive. I became more aware in general, but most specifically with my dogs, or infact all the dogs I come into contact with. Expressing gratitude and moments of joy, sadness, magic, lessons learned, and more with new friends has kept those coping skills sharp and ready. They were often my 1st thoughts in moments of difficulty. I'm not gonna lie, July has been rough as hell. Not sure what I'd have done without y'all.

@Marshall Medlock I feel you. I've practised PAWS for most of my life without knowing what it was or why it worked. It's just something I've always done for as long as I can remember. So glad you found us and even more glad it has helped. Dogs really are magical ✨️ This bunch of people have unknowingly saved quite a few of us this month it seems.. .

I feel like we are big enough now to protect our space and due to recent spamming, self-promotion or duplicating my admin account, I've put membership questions in place. I know it might put some people off....but what are you going to do about it. I'd like to keep this community hassle free, fun, kind and purpose oriented. ✌️💛

Be more dog ✨️
I often leave my hair-dryer on to warm the bathroom. I looked over to catch Rocket sitting with his eyes closed under the warm air 🥹
