Luxury resort with warm blankets and free drugs!
Hello from ED! I have got my Kiki and puppies fix from @Sam King Centreline meditation is really helpful, thank you @Birdy O'Sheedy And I got bedside delivered coffee.! Had a great morning started first day of my dog training plan. Inspired by @Jas Whiting and @Pat Stuart. I really wanted to train both dogs well. Had some short exercises and tracking in the backyard. Worked more getting away from two-ball. I then had a lot of pain and other spinal symptoms. My daughter drove me ( still can’t move my right foot) and I am hoping for some answers. Thank for being an awesome community!

@Cathy Chisari Yep, we'll do I know how much self-advocacy you have to do in order to receive good care from the medical system. Glad you have your lovely daughter to advocate for you. 👍🏻👌🏻
Hey guys! Cauda Equina Syndrome surgery a success!
Thank you @Birdy O'Sheedy for the Centreline meditation and others, the glimmers and wisdom continue to help me through my time in hospital - for your kindness and willingness to hold a safe space here. Thank you each and every one of you beautiful humans and your dogs, for being present and open to me in this magical community.

@Cathy Chisari Hmm, well I'm not sure this is cute as such but it's a few seconds from yesterday, late afternoon, of old girl Koko (she's a 14yo greyhound) stretching her legs. Taro the boarder and the three sheep also in the frame at the top of the paddock (but very small in the screen), and then, because it was so beautiful, I panned around to the golden light coming through the trees.
Same-same but different...
I like how in this pic Taro's coat catches the Light and Koko's reflects it. It makes me think how the light plays with us too. The light within us that we share with others, the light they reflect back to us, the light that gently rests upon us. May luminescence in one form or another find you today.

What a beautiful dog. Looks like he loves you right back.
Beyond exhaustion
I need to step away from most of my social platforms for a while. Prepping to move away from Tasmania is proving to be a considerably more difficult journey than anticipated and I'm finding myself slipping into a burnout spiral. Today I am forced to sell my older pony, and it's weighing extremely heavy. Everything I currently know, and have worked for is being sorted through, packed up, sold or left behind. The last 26 years of my life stripped bare. I know this needs to happen to move forward to create a bigger brighter future and a better life, but it is brutally confronting and exhausting on so many levels. There is nobody here to help and I have to navigate this task alone. My dogs keep me grounded, and so far this community has kept me sane. But right now contributing to yet another platform is leaving me far too drained. I must away to fully submerge deep in PAWS, I will sit in on community calls when I can and will read but not post. My inbox is always open. Big love x

Ah Jane, What a lot that is to be dealing with. I hear you on how moving home is a rearrangement of much more than just the furniture. You are doing work on more than one level, and it's intense on every single level of it. It's great that you are stepping back from what isn't a useful expenditure of your energy at the moment. And good on you for knowing what you need to do about it. Glad your crew can help as you move through it all; just don't let Zeb convince you to let him 'help' with packing anything fragile. 😉😂 Sending you warmth.
