The weight of a dog's head
It's quite something, isn't it, that the weight of a dog's head resting on you, or tucked alongside you, is such a measure of contentment.

Big feelings and canine enforced PAWS
My cleaner and I deep cleaned and packed away most of my crate room tonight. More storage for boxes as other rooms get packed down... This room hit me harder than the others and I ended up sitting on the floor in tears after my cleaner left. All 3 dogs instinctively gathered close and sat on or next to me until my breath returned to normal. Once again, canine enforced PAWS in action. How have your dogs helped you this week?

@Jane Purdon Good to hear your GSDs (and your terrier ring-in πŸ˜‰) have got their all-round Endorcer skills going strong. That's so lovely that the trio were there for you. Wishing you all the best as you keep moving through this big transition. It's a lot to process.

First time seeing bugs that light up πŸ˜‚
Sometimes with how big she is now I forget she’s still a baby. First time seeing a lightning bug. To them , that is magic. Light that flys πŸ˜‚

That's magic for sure!
Memories
This photo came up in my FB memories today. I had forgotten all about baby Zeb and his obsession for beating up coat hangers. He would spend ages barking and growling at it whilst strutting around with it on his head all proud 🀣 What cute funny stuff do you remember your dog doing as a pup?

I got Slipstream when he was six and a half months old, so don't have baby puppy memories of him, but as a young adolescent/older pup, when we would walk in the bush he would find 'banksia men' that he'd carry for a while then bury a little way off the bush track, then the next time we'd go walking there he'd dig it up and then stash him somewhere else along the route, waiting for another day. I just found it funny and cute that he found banksia flowers valuable and worth cacheing.

I love helping any creature become more at ease in the world, and especially love helping dogs and people live well together. www.bachingdog.com.au
