Black cockatoos!
We dont often get them here for some reason, but on this morning's walk there were 3! At first, the size of one of them, i thought was a young bird of prey. It landed and the head shape was wrong for that and I realised. I zoomed as far as I could with my phone camera and then zoomed on the pic I took, and sure enough - and then s/he vocalised and 2 more flew in. That distinct cocky sound. 🩷
And of course, Lois who patiently waited while I carried on about cockies.
