Welcome 🤗
What I’m loving so far ♥️
I’m taking my time moving through the 28 Day Challenge, because I have a habit of rushing through so many things in life. One thing I’m really loving is that I’m starting to develop these little rituals around just being present with Kaida ♥️ One of them is that we share my lunch together. I used to manage lunchtime a lot more by having her in her crate because, let’s be honest, impulse control wasn’t exactly her strong point 😂 Add in level 100 parkour, ridiculous bouncing abilities and me always being in a rush, and the crate was just easier. But since really slowing down and being more present with her, we’ve started sharing my lunch together instead. No phone. No TV. No rushing onto the next thing. Just the two of us sharing my lunch, listening to some tunes and hanging out together. And it keeps getting better and better. It’s such a simple little thing, but honestly I’m loving every minute of it ♥️ I think that’s becoming one of my favourite parts of this challenge — not rushing to complete 28 days, but noticing the little things that are changing along the way. Photo is relevant- just cause lol

Check the Community Call Recording Library out. It's always fun, we troubleshoot things, discuss a bunch and often end with a little meditation. We always welcome people to join. To be honest, I'd miss my weekly call so much if it wouldn't happen. Just not as magical of a week without it 🥹. Thank you everyone who makes the time to show up and help us grow our movement. 🥰 Much love, Birdy

Gentle heads up: about dogs we’ve lost ♥️
I was thinking today about the pups we’ve lost, and rather than making this a memorial post, I thought it would be really cool to celebrate their lives by sharing the little stories that made them who they were. The funny things they did, the ridiculous things they got up to, their weird little quirks and the moments that still make us laugh. This is my big fella, T-Rex. One of my favourite stories is the time he somehow managed to take my keys out of my pocket without me noticing. We spent about three hours walking up and down through the long grass looking for them. Eventually, T-Rex started leading me back towards where they’d been dropped and there they were. He’d known exactly where they were the whole time. The best part? That three-hour adventure meant I was three hours late for work. T-Rex, meanwhile, had the absolute time of his life. And this is my girl, Chicken. She was a German Shepherd with a glamour coat that gorgeous fluffy coat that’s somewhere between long and short. She was also completely obsessed with water, and whenever she’d been swimming or playing in the water, she’d end up with these skinny wet chicken legs underneath her big fluffy body. And somehow, “Chicken” just stuck. That’s the stuff I want to remember about them. Not just that I lost them, but who they were. So if you’ve lost a dog you loved, I’d love to hear one of your stories. Tell us about the ridiculous, funny, mischievous or completely unforgettable things they did. Let’s celebrate the little characters they were. ❤️ Hope this is ok to post 😊

Day 1 of the 28 day challenge
Yesterday was all about being more present and thinking more dog, and it honestly made me stop and think about how often I rush from one thing to the next. I work from home, which is great, but it also means work can sometimes be right there in the background even when I’m supposed to be switched off. I wanted to share this video because normally I’d be more about “quick, fill the pool up for her” and then get on with whatever I was doing. 😂 But yesterday I actually stopped and was present with her while we filled it up. I also turned all my notifications off and left everything else inside, so there was nothing else going on and we could just focus on each other. She had the most fun and honestly, so did I lol. So many laughs and water EVERYWHERE. 😂 It’s only Day 1, but already it’s made me look at things a bit differently. I think I’m going to hang around on Day 1 for a couple of days rather than rushing off to the next one, because clearly I’ve got a bit of work to do on this one lol. Ps video filmed in slow motion.
