Harvest Moon Intentions
It's the day after the full moon and she was so glorious last night/early this morning. I know that many of us may engage in some sort of practice around the moon cycles, especially full and new moons. This is a newer practice to me. One of the many that in my previous current life (HA!) I knew nothing about. For a few months now, I fill a large glass jar with filtered water, and I watercolor my intention. I take both out to a tree-less area to the east, where the sky is open, and I set the jar of water on my intention. I would love to hear what others in this community do.
I felt compelled to share my two intentions. There is some power I believe in sharing intentions. And I think it may have to do with accountability. Not that anything bad is going to happen if I don't follow through. More of a witnessing power. And that whole sacred mirror thing - I see true self reflected in the eyes of my sisters. if anyone wants to join me, feel free!
I will facilitate a women's circle at The Birds Nest in Danville KY before the end of the quarter
I will honor my body in movement and in resting, and in doing so find balance.
I will release myself from the bondage of nicotine and be nicotine-free by the end of the quarter
And so it is.
Ok, that's it for me!! Thank you for witnessing me!🌹
