Look who found me 😍
I have a collection of Virgin Mary art and for fun I sometimes scroll eBay to see what interesting things I can find on a budget. This real 5” painted egg was listed as a Virgin Mary, but in my mind she’s most definitely Mary Magdalene- a red egg! She’s unlike any of the painted Orthodox eggs I’ve ever seen. And here’s the kicker, I found her for $5. Five fuggin dollars! I can’t find anything like this one on the internet. I’ve been too excited to even post about her while I waited for her to arrive. Just to be sure she’s as cool as I’d hoped and made it in one piece. It took ten long days for her to arrive. And guess when she was delivered- during our Unbinding call today! I better clean up my altar so she has a prominent place for the Leo eclipse tomorrow. I feel like she’s a good omen as we close out the Lions Gate portal with the eclipse tomorrow. I leave in the past all that does not serve my next aligned step and my higher good. With Mary Magdalene on my altar, in my heart, and by my side. 🌹

The Soul Knows
The Soul senses It knows It recognizes its travel companions the vision the phrase the Polaroid picture Snapped in the moment Frozen for eternity It knows Nothing is forever And true can be false Witnessing is acknowledging Not speaking affirms What was is not is. And ashes can turn to dust. A new beginning A death of was And so it is.

Tomorrow we enter the Lion’s Gate 🦁🔥
The more I’ve prepared for tomorrow’s Soul Voice Activation, the more excited I am about this one. If the past week or so has felt heavy, reflective, emotional, or like old stories have suddenly come back around for another look, there may be a reason. We are moving through a period that astrologers associate with reflection, release, and seeing familiar things from a new perspective. And I’ve been feeling that personally. I’ve been thinking a lot about the way we label people and experiences as “good” or “bad,” especially when we’ve been hurt. Sometimes healing asks us to see more of the story. To remember that something painful may also have contained love. That someone who hurt us may also have been acting from their own wounds. That a difficult experience may have changed us in ways we now value. Understanding doesn’t mean excusing. Compassion doesn’t mean reopening a door. It can simply mean we are finally able to hold the whole story without being trapped inside the wound. And that is such a powerful place to enter tomorrow’s 8/8 Lion’s Gate. The Lion’s Gate is associated with courage, visibility, sovereignty, power, abundance, and manifestation. So tomorrow we’re going to work with both sides of that threshold: What am I ready to release? and What am I ready to create now? And our guide is going to be Thecla. If you don’t know her story yet, you are in for something incredible. Thecla was an early Christian woman who refused the life that had been chosen for her. She was eventually thrown into an arena with wild animals. A lioness was released toward her. And instead of attacking Thecla, the lioness ran to her, lay at her feet, and became her protector. I cannot stop thinking about this image. Thecla did not tame the lioness. The lioness recognized her. Tomorrow we are going to meet our own lioness. The part of us that carries instinct, boundaries, anger, creativity, authority, desire, discernment, and the courage to choose differently.

In a wild coincidence (not really) and completely forgetting that Thecla had baptized herself, I baptized myself ina bath last night. And I spoke words into the water I sat in. I put my lips all the way down onto the water so they were touching it and spoke so many things into it. Things I wanted to release and wash down the drain (and a few curses against a certain sailor. Mostly that he’d reap was he’s sown. I keep thinking it’s a really bad omen for a sailor to treat a water sign and mermaid the way he has. Haha.) Afterward I danced and then meditated in candlelight because I had another power outage thanks to a thunderstorm, so I spent the whole evening in candlelit quiet ceremony. But I find it remarkable that I did this whole water ceremony last night and then sealed it today in our practice. Just very cool. And obviously not a coincidence.
15 Minutes to Thecla and the Lioness at the Gate!
