๐ Turkey Pasta Bake (DTF Edition)
๐ Ingredients (Serves 2โ3)
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 6โ8 oz protein pasta (chickpea or lentil)
- 1 ยฝ cups marinara sauce (I used Carbone ๐)
- 1โ2 cups fresh spinach
- 2โ3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1โ2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
๐ฉ๐ฝโ๐ณ Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF
- Cook pasta Boil in salted water until slightly undercooked (about 1โ2 minutes less than package directions) Drain and set aside
- Cook the turkey Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat Add garlic โ sautรฉ for 30 seconds Add ground turkey โ cook until browned Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
- Build the sauce Add marinara sauce to the turkey Stir in spinach โ cook until wilted
- Combine Add cooked pasta into the pan Mix everything together until evenly coated
- Bake Transfer to a baking dish (or use an oven-safe pan) Bake for 15โ20 minutes, until hot and slightly bubbly
- Optional (but recommended) Broil for 2โ3 minutes for a slightly crispy top
๐ Easy Swaps
- No spinach? โ Use kale or zucchini
- Want it saucier? โ Add an extra ยฝ cup marinara
- Want heat? โ Add red pepper flakes
- Lower carb? โ Use less pasta, more veggies
