DTF - Turkey Pasta Bake
๐Ÿ Turkey Pasta Bake (DTF Edition)
๐Ÿ›’ Ingredients (Serves 2โ€“3)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 6โ€“8 oz protein pasta (chickpea or lentil)
  • 1 ยฝ cups marinara sauce (I used Carbone ๐Ÿ‘€)
  • 1โ€“2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2โ€“3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1โ€“2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF
  2. Cook pasta Boil in salted water until slightly undercooked (about 1โ€“2 minutes less than package directions) Drain and set aside
  3. Cook the turkey Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat Add garlic โ†’ sautรฉ for 30 seconds Add ground turkey โ†’ cook until browned Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
  4. Build the sauce Add marinara sauce to the turkey Stir in spinach โ†’ cook until wilted
  5. Combine Add cooked pasta into the pan Mix everything together until evenly coated
  6. Bake Transfer to a baking dish (or use an oven-safe pan) Bake for 15โ€“20 minutes, until hot and slightly bubbly
  7. Optional (but recommended) Broil for 2โ€“3 minutes for a slightly crispy top

  • No spinach? โ†’ Use kale or zucchini
  • Want it saucier? โ†’ Add an extra ยฝ cup marinara
  • Want heat? โ†’ Add red pepper flakes
  • Lower carb? โ†’ Use less pasta, more veggies

  • This is a high-protein, low-effort comfort meal
  • Perfect for nights when youโ€™re tired but still want to show up for yourself
  • Makes great leftovers (arguably better the next day ๐Ÿ‘€)
