Why: We make hundreds of decisions from our bodies every day — hunger, tension, fatigue, readiness — and most of us have learned to override those signals. The body scan is how we start listening again.
The Tool: 5-Minute Top-to-Bottom Scan
• Sit or lie down, close your eyes
• Start at the top of your head, slowly move attention downward
• At each area: just notice. Tight? Warm? Numb? No fixing.
• End at your feet. Take one breath.
