Welcome to the Community
Welcome in to everyone joining. Please introduce yourself by responding to this post, say which part of the world you’re in if comfortable, (helpful for connecting with others and provider recommendations), explain any symptoms you experience, or anything else you'd like to add. I find many people think they are alone in experiencing their specific pain, however this community has brought a lot of us together and taught me otherwise. ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: This Skool Community is organized into three tiers. 1.) Free: You have access to our community and forum. Please connect, share, and learn from others. I will be contributing as well. You will notice four tabs labeled with a root cause for TMD (and all chronic disease for that matter). Each tab will provide a small sample on how we explore each topic deeper in the Premium Membership. If you are part of the free community, and have specific question pertaining to one of the four topics, please post it under that tab. I love organization and most, probably, definitely, possibly have OCD, so it's appreciated. 2.) Premium: All benefits from the first tier, and access to research findings, articles, video tutorials, blog posts, and any other information on my own healing journey. The founding ~40 members were given this for free. 3.) VIP: Benefits from tier one and two, along with biweekly group Q&A calls where you can bring specific questions or topics to ask about and discuss. Finally, as I grow this Skool, I will also be adding lengthier in depth videos on specific topics (topics can be requested) for one time purchases. Thank you all so much for being here, reading this over and hope to connect soon! With love, John
A Recap of My FME Installation
Hello everyone, and welcome to the new members! I have been consistently inconsistent with contributing to the Skool community. If you do have questions, please reach out. However, I will be much more involved moving forward now that I have started my FME journey. Almost three weeks ago, Dr. Jaffari installed my FME. I had a piezo cut, 10 TADs, and the FME 4.5 Pro 1A. I recorded the whole procedure, and it was much more intense than I was expecting. However, Dr. Jaffari was extremely caring and talented, completing the procedure in 37 minutes while explaining it to students of the craft. The pain was minimal, but I was very sore for about 3–4 days. The worst of it felt like a bad sinus infection. I was eating normally, talking fine (just with a small lisp), and taking it slow for a couple of days. All in all, it went smoothly. If anyone has any questions, please reach out. This journey is much bigger to me than only improving aesthetic, or even airway health. It’s also an internal journey to learn self-love. I find that many people in this space also share the habit of shaming themselves and wishing they looked different. That’s for another day, but I bring it up in hopes of always getting others to think about why they are doing this procedure. It was stressful on the body, to say the least, but I’m looking forward to better sleep and better health. I will be posting more and keeping them shorter so I don’t feel as discouraged about setting aside the time to post. So please ask any questions, as I left a lot of information out. These are progress pictures from two weeks of expansion. A small diastema is forming. I have completed 12 turns. No "pop" or improved nasal breathing at this point.
A Recap of My FME Installation
Addressing Asymmetries and Helping Expansion
As I start to expand with my FME, I am paying closer attention to, and studying my face. For better or worse, this brings up a lot to think about. One area I want to talk about is possibly aiding expansion with the help of myofascial exercises. When I look back at old pictures, I notice my asymmetries were there but not as pronounced. That leads me to believe they could be related to two possible causes: either erosion of my condyles or muscle imbalances from poor habits. With that said, I will be doing massages and trigger point releases alongside my expansion, and I will post the exercises I am doing on this thread. I am also trying to incorporate as much sauna use as possible during this time, but that is completely experimental. You can also look some up if you are in a hurry as I know I can be slow. I mainly do them around my stretching protocol, which I will go into greater depth.

Where to start?
I am from Germany and watch the tiktok video that blew my mind. But I don't fully understand everything yet. I have an appointment with an orthopedic tomorrow but not sure if she understands me. I have lots of health issues since years like SIBO, dysregulated nervous system etc.
