IntelServe | All-in-One Platform for PIs and Process Servers
Most platforms ask you to believe the pitch before you’ve ever trusted them with a real case. That never sat right with me. So if you’re curious about IntelServe, don’t switch, don’t commit, don’t migrate anything. Just do this instead: Run one real case through it. A live case. One you’re already working. Log what you normally log. Upload what you normally collect. Generate what you normally deliver. Then step back and ask yourself a simple question: 👉 Did this reduce friction—or add to it? If it didn’t make your workflow calmer, cleaner, and more defensible, walk away. No pressure, no follow-ups, no “book a call” nonsense. This isn’t about features. It’s about whether your work feels finished when the work is done. If you want access to the free trial, it’s open. Use it like a professional would: quietly, critically, and on real work. That’s it. 👉https://intelserve.io

A hard truth most investigators and process servers don’t like to hear:
If you’re running cases through Google Docs, shared folders, and homemade spreadsheets — and a client finds out — you will probably lose that client. Not because Google Docs is “bad.” But because it signals risk. From a client’s perspective: • Files live in different places • Access controls aren’t obvious • Audit trails are unclear • Chain-of-custody can’t be explained in one sentence • There’s no single system of record And the moment a client asks: “Where is everything stored, and who can access it?” “Google Drive” is not the answer they expect. Serious clients — attorneys, insurers, corporate teams — assume: • One secure platform • Role-based access • Centralized documentation • Consistent structure across every case • Proof that survives scrutiny When information is scattered across tools, confidence drops — even if the work itself is solid. This is how good professionals lose good clients: Not from bad investigations… But from systems that look improvised. If you ever have to explain why your workflow is safe instead of letting the system speak for itself, the damage is already done. Professional work deserves professional infrastructure. And your clients are paying attention — even when you think they aren’t.

So I have gotten a ton of business (Infidelity Investigations) by going and sitting at a bar and finding the one person who was drinking their sorrows away. But I can't be at every bar so I designed a card to leave with bartenders to pass out for me. I focus on surveillance for cheating spouses and insurance fraud / worker's comp investigations.

Let’s talk about something every investigator faces: marketing your business. It can be overwhelming. You’ve got the skills, but how do you stand out in a crowded market? Here’s the deal: Marketing doesn’t have to be expensive. You just need strategic moves that bring in clients consistently. 🎯 Here’s the formula: 1️⃣ Niche Down, BIG Time Are you a general investigator? Or do you specialize in areas like infidelity or insurance fraud? When you narrow your focus, you position yourself as the go-to expert for that niche. 2️⃣ Social Proof Is EVERYTHING 📸 Share success stories, client testimonials, and case studies. 📲 Share them everywhere: social media, Google Business Profile, your website. 3️⃣ Leverage Local SEO 🎯 Optimize your Google Business Profile — this is free, but so many neglect it. Don’t be one of them! 4️⃣ Create Killer Content Write blog posts, make videos, or host webinars. Educate your potential clients, and they’ll remember your name when they need help. 🔑 Bonus Tip: Start a referral program to encourage existing clients to send more work your way. Offer them a discount or gift card when they send a successful referral. 💬 What’s worked for you in marketing your PI business?
