W E E K E N D W A F F L E S…but healthier 😉
I added a scoop of protein powder and a whole banana to make this FILLING + delicious 😋
I made a scrumptious peanut butter drizzle with @maldonsalt @sweetfreedomuk honnee and a tablespoon of high protein powdered peanut butter which has the fat removed (meaning I could add some extra pistachios with zero guilt, just gains 💪) then dusted with some keto sugar free icing sugar 👌
To make the waffles you’ll need a waffle maker, 2 very ripe mashed bananas, a cup of gf self raising flour, 1/4 cup protein powder (I used pea), some sweetener (I used sugar free vanilla coffee syrup!) and enough milk to combine and make a scoopable batter - around 1/2 cup.. I used oat milk but any plant milk will work.
Dollop in the middle of your waffle maker (spray with a little frylight if needed) then cook until your machine flashes green or the steam stops..
