Mind Right Mondays (AAN) is happening in 3 days
The Same 24 Hours In the Day?
"We all have the same 24 hours in the day," they say. But do we? The CEO spends their time setting the strategic direction of corporate divisions containing thousands of people, while the single mother spends her time chasing kids, working for wages, and doing laundry. No judgment on the single mother. In fact, she works much harder than the CEO, but she is not able to have as much impact. Both have 24 hours in a day, but some have more leverage on their time than others. Why are some people able to live the Four Hour Workweek, making 7-figures in four hours a week, while others work 15 hours a day and barely scrape by? The answer is leverage. It's not about how much time you have. It's about how you use it. The CEO and the single mom both have the same 24 hours in the day, but the single mom deploys 24 hours of work and rest, while the CEO deploys 24,000 hours of work at their command. If you'd like to learn how to have more leverage in your business, might I suggest you join me and Brandi Cox tomorrow morning at 11 AM Eastern for the No Touch Tech Info Session, where you will learn how to effectively and affordably delegate your tech. 🤷‍♂️ You May Not Have 1,000 Employees, But... You may not be the CEO with a team of Vice Presidents to execute your vision, but you can be the CEO of your company. Many people thinks CEOs are overpaid because they don't seem to do any real work. They don't assemble widgets on the assembly line. They don't create reports. They don't design marketing campaigns. They don't do anything! What they do is they direct all the people who do the things, and if you don't think good direction is important, try driving through an intersection when the power is out and the traffic light isn't working. 😅 You're Not a CEO If You Do It All Yourself How do you get big company CEO leverage without big company CEO budgets? You must delegate strategically. Find the areas of your business where you are the weakest, the areas where you spend the most time (and frustration) to get the result, and have someone else do it for you.
What Is Financial Freedom?
We hear the term "Financial Freedom" thrown around a lot, but what does it mean? Quite simply, it means that your passive income(that's money you make without working for it) exceeds your expenses (you know what those are). That's the first thing to understand, but the the second is how to actually create passive income. The only way to create passive income is to invest your resources (time, money, and energy) into assets that create passive income. And that's where a lot of us entrepreneurs get it wrong. We invest in ourselves, in technology, in our businesses, and all kinds of other great places, but none of those create passive income. It's great to be able to make more revenue, but if that revenue doesn't to passive income assets, you'll never be financially free. 💸 How Can You Become Financially Free? I didn't always know this. I learned it from Penelope Jane Smith and her team at Real Prosperity Inc, and I encourage you to learn from her as well. She has a great ebook called The Financial Freedom Formula, in which, in a few pages, she explains these concepts much better than I can. Not only does she explain them well, but she explains them in simple terms that you don't need a finance degree to understand. Normal language for normal people. Get your copy of The Financial Freedom Formula now, and take the 10 minutes to read it, because the ideas in it could revolutionize your financial future. Download the ebook now -Michael Whitehouse The Guy Who Knows a Guy P.S. If you'd like to take your financial education to the next level, I invite you to attend Financial Freedom 101, November 7th to 9th. In just three days, you will learn financial concepts that will change everything for you. Regular tickets are $1497, but for my community, I have arranged that you can get a full scholarship to the event. They only ask you to put down a $97 seat deposit, which you get back when you attend.

Do The (One) Thing
The motto of the Aligned Action Network is "Do The Thing!" The community is about taking action, and taking the right action. But what does this mean? 💥Action Lists of Actions Most people keep some kind of action list, either on paper or in their head. If you are an entrepreneur, then there is a good chance that there are multiple projects you are working on at a time, each of which has multiple actions to complete it. You also may have your personal and business projects mingled, which is not necessarily a problem. You may have the various actions of each project mingled, and that is a big problem. 🏭 Doing the One Thing (and the others) There is probably one thing which will move the needle, push things forward, make a difference. One, key, powerful, high leverage thing to do. The advice you are probably expecting is for me to say "Only do that thing." So, you follow that advice. You smell bad because you haven't washed you're clothes, but you don't notice, being so lightheaded from not eating. And what's that ringing noise? Oh, it's your kid calling because you didn't pick them up from school. If you worked a job in an office, you could just do that one thing because there are other people to do the other things (or maybe not because your boss piles six things onto you). On your own, there are a whole bunch of Many Things around the One Thing. ⏲️ Make Time for the One Thing The solution is not to only do the One Thing. It is to make time for and strategize the One Thing. That one project has many individual actions that it may require. A small project may have a dozen. A large project may have hundreds. Write a list of all the actions, then go to your calendar and block out time for those actions. Set deadlines for various stages of the One Project, and make them reasonable. Then, when you have done what needs to be done today or this week for the One Thing, then you can do all the other Many Things. 📜The Power of the List

Reframing the Tyrant Villain
This morning I saw a video which reframed my understanding of the Fourth Villain: The Tyrant. I had defined the Tyrant as one who hordes information and resources, keeping them away from the Masses, but, when I watched this Mark Manson video this morning, he used the word in a way that gave me an epiphany. A Tyrant is someone who uses their superior knowledge and power (or perception of superior knowledge and power) to lord over their "inferiors." The Tyrant is the trainer who belittles and mocks a student with a "stupid question" or a question that challenges the Tyrant's authority. The Tyrant is the coach who kicks a client out of the program (without a refund, of course) for questioning their infallibility. (Yes, that really happened) The Tyrant is the influencer who engineers situations such as rigged debates against unprepared opponents to appear insightful. While the Predator will use their considerable resources to create a slippery funnel that you will slide down to be relieved of your money, the Tyrant will use their power to convince their fans that they are great masters... while demonizing and vilifying anyone who dare suggest otherwise. ⚖️ The Tyrant and the Steward The shadow twin of the Tyrant is the Steward. The Steward also amasses knowledge, influence, and resources, but they do it from a place of service rather than ego. The Steward does not need to be the source of all right answers. In fact, the Steward does not mind being proven wrong as that gives them the chance to learn and grow. Sometimes they will even share their humbling learning experience with their community. The Steward understands that there is greater authority in the long term by benevolently creating a space for all to grow than to horde all authority and credit to oneself. 🔥Learn How to Meet the Right People at Networking Made Easy, tomorrow

What Can Men Do Against Such Reckless Hate?
Yesterday, I had a moment of despair. I said to my wife, "What's the point of any of this. Evil is on the move. The Enemy has the high ground. What can we do?" An interesting fact is that this message will resonate with people of all political stances at this moment, no? We'll discuss who the real Enemy is in a moment, because it may not be who you think. She did what she is very good at. She brought me back to focus. She reminded me that the world is not my responsibility. Only my world is my responsibility. My community, my friends, my people. Darkness cannot be fought, but light can be shined, even a small candle eradicates the darkness. I find myself reminded of the scene in the Two Towers, the second movie in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, in which the good people of Rohan have fled to Helms Deep, and the endless sea of evil Uruk Hai are breaking through the gates. In his despair, feeling that nothing can possibly stand against such evil, King Theoden says, "What can men do against such reckless hate?" Have you felt this way? Have you looked at the news or your social media and asked a question like this? Have you wondered what evil has come over our land, and despaired? But Aragorn had an answer. "Ride out with me." Who Is "The Enemy" Perhaps, as I talk about forces of evil, you are thinking of particular people, or particular groups of people. ☠️ But who is The Enemy? The Enemy is not The Right or The Left. The Enemy is not Republicans or Democrats. The Enemy is certainly not your friend who disagrees with you. The Enemy is the one who wants you to believe that those people are the enemy. The Enemy is anyone who would seek to divide you from other people. The Enemy is whoever would turn us against each other. 🔥 Fire Cannot Fight Fire 🌊 When you fight fire with fire, you get more fire. When you fight hate with hate, you get more hate. When you fight anger with anger, you get more anger. But you can light the darkness with even a single candle.
