Tonight in our house it’s a proper UK classic — a Sunday roast. It’s one of those little rhythms that feels grounding at the end of a busy week... warm food, everyone gathered, and a chance to slow down together.
It got me wondering how different families do Sundays — because food can look so different depending on culture, sensory needs, energy levels, and what our children feel safe with.
We don't sit around a table at the moment due to different ND needs but almost everyone eating a roast is a win! (A recent development!)
We do manage a table sit at Christmas though!!
So I’d love to hear from you:
🥔 Do you have a regular Sunday meal or tradition?
🍗 What are your go-to comfort foods lately?
🥦 What dinners do your children enjoy most right now (even if it’s the same safe food every week!)?
🌍 If you’re not in the UK — what’s a “classic” meal where you live?
No pressure for perfect plates here — just sharing ideas, swapping inspiration, and celebrating whatever works for your family.
I’ll be over here with roasties and gravy… tell me what’s on your table tonight 👇
