The Channel Seems to be Making a Come Back!
Since making the shift, I decided to create some daily videos to see how the audience took the new format. I have yet to mix any surfing or fishing into the content, but have started to create mini movie/vlogs, and so far the new series called Mullumbimby Lifestyle is getting traction. Still early days but new viewers are being found and subscribing to the Mullumbimby Lifestyle, which I have turned into a show in a new playlist. Thanks for taking the time to watch the new content. I released a new video yesterday/ last night about the natural rhythms and the pull of the moon. We have a few new members coming through from the search here inside Skool, so if that's you here is my latest video, just in case you have never seen my content before! Happy Gardening Marty
NEW THUMBNAIL STYLE
I wanted to share something with you all. As you know, I am doing my best to get some life back into the channel with new stories. I have come up with a thumbnail that I am hoping people can see easily on their phones, looks great on the TV and shines the vibe Australia! The concept is the Aussie map on the left in each Thumbnail, with a different image on the right for each story and a different text subtitle above the images. I wonder if this will get the clicks, and attract a wider international Audience? Wish me luck, hehe. I just changed last night's thumbnail to this one. I like it, nice and clean. Anyway, let's see if it works!
NEW THUMBNAIL STYLE
Store bought mix strikes again!
I finally got into the garden after a busy week and todays job was digging out the potato bags, I've had the aussie gardener bags for a few years and they have been groin g well, however, this year i have got a lot less out of the bags then ever i got nothing out of one of the big bags. The plants were doing well and had been watered regally with the hose that leaks ( another thing for the shopping list) Id used Premium veggie potting mix with manure and sewed in the bag, usually the soil starts there and works its way to top up the beds, however after the miserable potato harvest i think im going to toss it. I'm thinking in future, buy a premium potting mix but add compost ,fertilizer, castings and manure myself. I did add mushroom compost layer as they were growing but I don't think it did much, just another one to add to the blueberry that didn't like its new soil. has anyone got some suggestions to make a decent soil for veggies ? Thank you

What are your projects in the next few weeks or months?
Hey there πŸ‘‹ I thought I would jump on & talk about my project over the next few days or weeks depending on the weather as we are SUPPOSE to get some rain this afternoon & into the weekend. I have an old BBQ area which we never use anymore so I got rid of the BBQ (it was rusting anyway) & I plan to either move the big heavy concrete table to another part of the yard or leave it there if we can't move it. I will lift up the pavers & place some compost, manure & mulch there to improve the soil & then plant my running seedlings in the area eg. Watermelon, rock melon, sweet potato etc. That will be one side of the garden completed & the next job is to fix up the citrus trees and the soil under them. Don't be shy & add your projects below πŸ‘‡
