2025 was quite a year!
I was vlogging the year in review today and was surprised how much had been achieved on my property this year. Ironically, I started the year backlogged with overrun areas, due to many months absence in the garden in 2024. I approached the year with the mindset, “Do a little - often” and “work one small area at a time” as I reclaimed and planted out each area. I used my Power Hour Gardening Challenges to motivate myself through the less appealing jobs. Mentally, challenges teach us to be less hesitant to do the things we perceive as difficult or less fun. Now I look around the whole property and marvel at what was done, with less stress, quicker than I thought possible, by attending to each growing space bit by bit. The Tomato and Chilly Challenge was right up my alley too being another challenge commitment. So far this has resulted in more attention to those specific plants. Yes, all my tomatoes are getting away on me now as they took off. There was a lot planted! They are growing well and so quickly I can’t keep up with the pruning! The result though, will be more food security and a wonderful sense of achievement. in addition, there’s the ever changing sanctuary spaces we can escape to, with every wave of worldly bad news - to just breath! ☺️ Abundant blessings to you all for 2026 all! May you have many more win than challenges in your gardens and may they bring much joy.

Seasonal Reflections & Creative Rituals
Merry Christmas, Gardeners 🎄🌿 As the year winds down, I’ve been reflecting on how much creativity grows when we slow down, breathe a little deeper, and reconnect with what matters. This season always reminds me that community is the real gift the conversations, the shared ideas, the small sparks we pass to each other that turn into something bigger. I’d love to hear from you all: What’s one creative ritual, moment, or insight you’re carrying with you into the new year? Whether it’s something you learned in the garden, in your craft, or in your personal life, feel free to share. Let’s close out the year with gratitude and start the next one with intention. Wishing everyone peace, warmth, and inspiration today and beyond.
Draft for The Garden Creator Hub
Hey Gardeners 🌿✨ I’ve been thinking a lot about how we, as creators, balance the craft of what we make with the community we’re trying to nurture. Lately I’ve been experimenting with ways to make my creative process feel more intentional not just efficient, but human, warm, and rooted in connection. I’d love to hear how others here approach this. What’s one small habit, ritual, or mindset shift that’s helped you stay grounded while creating? Whether it’s a morning routine, a creative prompt, a tech workflow, or something totally unexpected, I’m here for it. Let’s grow together and learn from each other’s practices 🌼 Looking forward to hearing your insights and seeing what’s blooming in your world.
