Introduction
Hello all ~ I'm a new member here. I've been trying to make a go of this for quite some time and just haven't crossed the finish line. Feel like a forever student! Can get mortgages but capital is my issue - no money for the DP & CC. I've heard of creative financing and seller financing but haven't been able to find one yet.
I have a special needs son who will be out of the school system in 4 years so I need to leave my W2 and get that time freedom for him - and hopefully the financial freedom comes along with it!! I want a better life for myself and my family and being tied to a clock just isn't the way. I want to enjoy life! We're not getting any younger!! LOL
I currently have an LTR in state and an STR OOS but they're in no way going to enable me to leave my W2. I'd like to get into the MF arena to hopefully scale and make this a full time situation because real estate truly is my passion. I've been spinning my wheels for a few years now and think I need to start with the smaller MF properties to get my feet wet, if you will.
Favorite TV shows are Blue Bloods and Yellowstone.
Forgot - I'm in NJ. Currently looking in the Carolinas and NH but quite honestly I've been all over the place (one of my problems).
