After MONTH'S and MONTHS we FIIIIINALLY had a breakthrough and got some Azolla on site aaaand some Clarias gariepinus(Catfish) to improve our genetics as well.🤗🤗😁💥💃🔥🎉🤯🥳😎🕺. And yes, for the astutely savey members in our tribe, the Azolla is sun scorched,but that's going to self correct in our roofed space whilst we nurse it to it's vibrant self... WHHHOOOOP WHHHOOOOP 🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥😂

So a few questions on the dirty trials currently happening with the black soldier fly. It starts off with feed source....What is your main input going to be? In our context we had to look directly at what our local farmers were already doing.. Many of the farmers rely on palm oil production. You see the palms EVERYWHERE where we are located.... So start locally. Where are you going to get your 'waste' from? Maybe the coffee shop near you(coffee grounds)? The diner/restaurant down the street? Your kitchen and garden even.... Depending on your goals, you get to decide how big or small you want to go.

Hey gang... So in this section of the docu-series I will be giving regular updates of what's actually happening on the Farm. In the classroom is where we go more in depth with numbers, figures, calculations, how's and why's etc .. Here Peter is going through what is now the daily routine of feeding and harvesting. I'm hoping to be able to show everyone the linkages with 'the dirty trials segment once I resolved this editing debacle... The colony is now producing around 4kg of eggs DAILY. 😁. For context, we have been trying to get these flies for YEARS now. The first two batches, the first ones mostly died before we could even start. The second batch we made a HUUUUGE mistake and they all died. But this batch , we learned from the hard knock university WELL... And now everyone gets to benefit on how to grow these beauties right here🤗😁
