For those who don’t know me yet, I started my career as an administrative assistant with no clear roadmap and very little access to mentors or networks. Over the years, I worked hard, learned, and kept pushing forward until I became a Vice President in Payments for a global bank. But here’s what I’ve learned: none of us gets where we’re going alone. Along the way, I kept running into the same systemic barriers so many of us face: - Limited access to education in STEM and Finance - Too few mentors and role models - A lack of inclusive professional networks - Bias that slows advancement That’s why I created TRYBE. 👯 This is a community for anyone—no matter your background, career stage, or industry—who believes in building a more inclusive future of work. I just hired a new associate to my team. When meeting with all of the candidates who interviewed, I asked about AI, what they know about it, how they use it daily, and how they would apply it to solve a business problem.
