As we begin warming up this space, here we connect as an intersection of story, soul, magic, and personal growth towards making what matters, real through soul.
Here you’ll find writing prompts I practice myself. They come from lived experience, not generated content.
Here is a teaser prompt of what’s to come:
Prompt 01: “Where Have You Been?”
Intention: meet yourself honestly, so you can meet yourself now.
1) Arrive (30–60 sec)
Close your eyes. Breathe. If writing feels sticky, shake it out: hands, face, shoulders, jaw. Let the body unlock the page.
2) The Voices (1–2 min)
Notice who’s speaking and who’s listening.
- Me (the present narrator)
- Myself (the witness / wise one)
- I (the felt self in the story)
3) First Write — 10 minutes (no stopping)
Prompt: “Where have you been?”
Let the pen lead. Don’t edit. Describe scenes, seasons, textures, choices, detours. Name the struggle; name the spark.
4) Read. Then Refine — 5 minutes
Circle 3–5 images or sentences that throb with truth. Rewrite the piece around them. Tighter. Truer.
5) The Fine Cut — 2 minutes
Add details the camera would see: light, sound, scent, an object. Keep only what serves the heartbeat.
6) Close the Loop (1 minute)
One final line: “Because of where I’ve been, I now know…”
Sign it with today’s date. That’s your marker.
Optional Depth Prompts:
- Which part of me asked the question, and which part answered? What is my relationship to them?
- What did I avoid telling? Why?
- Where do I still carry the weather of that season in my body?
Ritual Notes:
- If stuck: shake again. Write one ugly sentence to break the seal.
- If overwhelmed: switch to lists for 60 seconds, then return to sentences.
- If drifting: set a timer and keep the pen moving.
Welcome home 🤍✨
Ps: Save the date for 11.11 as our very first meet up!
