hook stacking — the formula i use for every single video now
this is the formula you need to start using for hooks moving forward:
pain point hook → call out the exact problem they’re already living
dream outcome hook → show them what’s possible if they fix it
what this mean:
  1. pattern interrupt → say something that stops the scroll
  2. twist the knife → make the cost of staying stuck feel real
  3. gold outcome → paint the win so clearly they have to keep watching
example:
“if ur a business owner that’s made a million dollars u need to watch this video, otherwise ur gonna end up spending an extra $100,000 in taxes — and if u watch this, you’ll end up with assets that will appreciate higher than real estate, s&p, and gold over the next seven years”
that’s not luck. that’s structure. pain point, then dream outcome, back to back, before they even have a reason to swipe away.
most people write one hook and hope it lands. this stacks 2-3 angles into the first line so there’s more than one reason to keep watching.
your homework: pick your next video idea and write it 3 ways — pain point only, dream outcome only, then stacked. post all 3 below and I’ll tell you which one actually works.
