I avoid my bank account, the same way I avoid cleaning.
My motivation for the day:
If I’m in a low-energy state → I ignore the mess
🌀 Mid-energy → I’ll clear a corner
🌀 High-energy → I might clean for an hour
🌀 Burnout → I’m too overwhelmed to start again
Every time I clean, it’s a cycle:
I wait until it’s too much→ I waste time cleaning instead of doing what matters
promise I’ll change but I don’t
💡 Then I realized I am the same with money→
I forget what goes into my account→ I
ignore my spending→ I
don’t track, don’t check and get surprised when I’m broke
That mess?
It’s not just in my room.
It’s in my bank account.
It’s in my habits.
It's my motivation.
So here’s my experiment 👇
✅ 1 point for journaling or reflecting
✅ 1 point for one small job done
✅ 1 point: Can I access my bank account
🏆 Reward: TV or hobbies without guilt, or the clutter
The goal:
Less stress☀️
More clarity☀️
A system I can actually stick to
