Gentle reminder as we approach the holiday season
Happy Friday Clarity Circle! As we approach the end of the year with the holidays coming up, I want to send you all a gentle reminder. You can stay committed to your health goals AND enjoy the season. These two things are not opposites, they actually support each other.
Here’s what I want you to remember:
Progress isn’t erased by one meal, one event, or one off day. Your body responds to patterns, not perfection.
Mindset matters more than will power, so be present, make the choices that feel aligned, and leave guilt out of the equation.
Grace over pressure. Your nervous system thrives in safety and compassion, not stress.
This season is about meaningful connection, cozy moments, being in your joy, and fueling your body with love, not strict rules.
So if you’re feeling a little nervous about staying on track, here are some gentle mindset shifts that help:
Say these out loud or write them down in a journal:
“I’m choosing what supports me today.”
“My body is resilient.”
“I can enjoy food and still care about my health.”
“One choice doesn’t define me.”
And remember, you're building habits, learning, and growing. You are not starting over, you're living and continuing. Give yourself space to enjoy the holidays without abandoning your health, and also without abandoning your joy.
