Allergy friendly snacks + recipes
Hi everyone! I know how challenging it can be to find healthier snacks when you're navigating food sensitivities and allergies, so I wanted to make a list of all my favorites in case you need to avoid certain ingredients like gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, etc. You can also find my favorite websites to find healthier allergy-friendly recipes:
Snack brands:
-Simple Mills seed flour crackers (not almond flour ones if you can't have nuts)
-Cado brand avocado based ice cream
-Miyokos brand oat milk butter
-Happy Wolf bars
-Chomps beef or turkey sticks
-GoGo Squeez Fruit Pouches
-That’s It Fruit Bars
-Siete potato chips
-Fronen dairy-free ice cream (fruit based)
Dairy alternatives:
  • Dairy-free cheese: Miyoko’s cashew mozzarella (does contain nuts, but not dairy), Miyoko’s cream cheese, Treeline cheese spread (contains nuts, but not dairy)
  • Dairy-free milk: Forager cashew milk, MALK almond milk, Califia coconut/oat
  • Butter: Miyoko's oat milk butter
Gluten alternatives:
  • Breads: AWG Bakery (online), Base Culture and Simple Kneads for store bought
  • Tortillas: Siete, Rise & Puff, Maria & Ricardo’s, Nuco Coconut Wraps
  • Pastas: Chickpea, lentil, brown rice, sweet potato, buckwheat, cassava. Brands I like: Chickapea, Whole Foods, Lotus Foods, Jovial
