Welcome to The Christian Homemaker! 🤍
Hi sweet friends! I am so glad you’re here. ✨ This community was born out of something God’s been placing on my heart; a desire for connection, encouragement, and wisdom among Christian women who are navigating faith, family, and homemaking while trying to follow Jesus in the middle of busy, beautiful, and sometimes messy lives. My hope is to create a welcoming, Christ-centered community where we can grow together; encouraging one another, pointing each other back to God’s truth, and walking this journey side by side. This isn’t a course or a step-by-step how-to guide, but rather a place where we can learn from one another, no matter what season we’re in. Whether you’re a newer homemaker just finding your rhythms or a more experienced homemaker with wisdom to share, this is a space where everyone has something to offer and something to learn. What You’ll Find Here 🌿 This community is built around four main pillars that are close to my heart: ~ Faith - Growing in God’s Word, strengthening our prayer lives, and finding encouragement for our walk with Christ. ~ Homemaking - Creating homes filled with peace, beauty, and intention, while giving ourselves grace in the middle of real-life messes. ~ Marriage & Motherhood - Grace-filled encouragement for wives and mamas, sharing wisdom, supporting one another through every season, and finding joy in raising little hearts to know and love the Lord. ~ Homeschool - Encouragement, tips, and resources for teaching our children at home while cultivating a love of learning and a love for Jesus. Our Heart Verse 🕊️ “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”- 1 Thessalonians 5:11 That’s the heart behind this community: to encourage, uplift, and point each other back to Christ. How to Get Started 1. Introduce yourself! Head over to the Introduce Yourself Thread and share a little about you. 2. Engage at your own pace - No pressure, just connection. 3. Bring your heart - Your questions, struggles, joys, and prayers are all welcome here.

Living Like We’re Chosen 🕊️
I’ve been sitting with 1 Peter, where he calls us “elect exiles, chosen according to the foreknowledge of God.” It’s such a beautiful truth, but sometimes…it’s really hard to believe. Why? Because we know our own flaws. We compare ourselves. We wonder if God really sees us. We’re trained to think love has to be earned; so being chosen before we did anything to deserve it can feel too good to be true. But when we actually believe it, it changes the way we live. 🤎 We rest instead of strive. When the homeschool day derails or the house is a mess, we don’t spiral into “I’m failing.” We remember: God already delights in me. My worth isn’t measured by productivity. 🤎 We live with security, not fear. When a text goes unanswered, or someone doesn’t include us, we don’t sink into insecurity. Our value isn’t tied to human approval, it’s anchored in God’s choosing. 🤎 We walk with courage. Even when we feel like outsiders; at family gatherings, in conversations, or in culture, we can live faithfully and differently, because we were chosen to be set apart. 🤎 We overflow with gratitude. Even in small things like folding laundry, we can pause and thank God: “You’ve entrusted me with these lives, this work.” Gratitude turns duty into worship. 🤎 We treat others as chosen too. Instead of competing or comparing, we extend kindness. That mom at the playground, or the neighbor who seems distant; God’s heart is big enough for them too. Living as chosen doesn’t mean life gets easier. But it means our lens shifts. Instead of striving, fearing, hiding, or comparing, we live from a place of security, gratitude, and love. Where do you find it hardest to believe you’re chosen? How might your day look different if you lived from that truth?
