SEPTEMBER IS SELF-CARE AWARENESS MONTH.
And caregivers, this reminder is especially for us. When you spend so much time making sure someone else is okay, it’s easy to keep putting yourself at the bottom of the list. Self-care doesn’t have to be elaborate. Five quiet minutes. A warm shower. A favorite scent. A moment when nobody needs anything from you. This September, remember: Care for them. But don’t disappear from your own life. You deserve care before you reach empty. CEDARWOOD — CENTERED Affirmation “I am grounded in who I am. I release what is not mine to carry, and I return to my center.” Cedarwood Ritual — COME BACK TO YOU Use your Cedarwood fragrance as the signal that it’s time to stop carrying the day for a moment. SCENT — Apply, warm, or diffuse Cedarwood. Take one slow breath and notice its warm, woody aroma. RELEASE — Exhale slowly and name one thing you’re carrying that can wait. CENTER — Place your hand over your heart and repeat the affirmation three times. STILLNESS — Give yourself three quiet minutes. No phone. No fixing. No planning. RETURN — Before getting up, say: “I can care without carrying everything.” Ritual intention: Cedarwood becomes your sensory reminder to come back to yourself—centered over chaotic. #SelfCareAwarenessMonth #CaregiverLife #CaregiverSelfCare #CareForTheCaregiver #SeptemberSelfCare #SelfCare

Self-care Awareness Month BINGO
Thanks to @Susan Lowe for making me aware of this most important month. I would like to start a 5 day challenge with the attached Bingo Card. Everyone should be able to open it up and have your own card. Every time you complete one of the selfcare tips on the card (if you have time come and make a comment), if you have to save a few up you can, but please me them individual comments on this post. The more comments you make and posts that you like and comment on will move you up the leaderboard. There are some additional tips in Level 2. I'm working on Level 3 and you will want to be Level 4 by October. Let's have some fun and celebrate Self-care Awareness Month by caring for ourselves and sharing it with others, it might encourage someone. What selfcare tip on the care you most excited to try? P.S. I created this with Claude Artifacts and you will download you own copy. Have fun!

🌲September Oil of the Month: Cedarwood 🌲
🌲𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵, 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 🌲 💭 Cedarwood’s Key Emotions: Cedarwood carries the beautiful energies of 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁. These qualities make it a powerful ally for caregivers who often feel overwhelmed, scattered, or emotionally drained. 🙋‍♀️ Reflection Question: Which of Cedarwood’s key emotions resonates most with you right now? Use the poll and share why in the comments below or maybe you have more than one? Let’s encourage one another with the gifts God has given us in these precious oils.

Happy September, Dear Cherished Caregivers!
I’m stepping into this new month with a simple daily rhythm I’d love to share with you: a Scripture for the day. My prayer is that this becomes a quiet place of faith and encouragement for caregivers, where we can lift each other up in the middle of real life. 🙏 Here’s how you can join in, just take a moment: - Share your verse of the day in the comments or create your own post, or - Tell us one line about how today’s Scripture resonates with you right now 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: “𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲; 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁.”, 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟭𝟭𝟴:𝟮𝟰 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮y: Today is a gift, a sacred trust, and I will honor it fully. Yesterday is behind me. Tomorrow is in God’s hands. But today, I will live with purpose and grace. 💜 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻: What is your verse for today, or what one word do you need from God today (peace, strength, patience, hope)? 🌻
