Researching agencies and hiring carers for her, and living the family side of this industry, is what got me here — and what convinced me this isn't a "my mum's agency" problem, it's an industry-wide one. There are more elderly people needing care right now than there are businesses able to provide it. That means this isn't a space where we compete for scraps — there's room for all of us to grow.
