Welcome to Breath Dojo 🥋🌬️ You’re officially inside the place where we train one of the most overlooked performance tools in the world: your breath. Most people breathe every day without ever learning how to use it — to calm the nervous system, improve focus, build resilience, recover faster, and perform better under pressure. That’s what Breath Dojo is here for. Inside this community, you’ll find simple breathwork lessons, guided practices, training concepts, conversations, and tools to help you build a real breath practice you can use in everyday life — not just when you’re sitting on a mat, but when you’re stressed, training, competing, working, recovering, or trying to reset. Here’s how to get started: 1. Introduce yourself in the community.Tell us who you are, where you’re from, and what brought you here. 2. Share your main breath goal. Are you here for stress relief, athletic performance, focus, better sleep, recovery, nervous system regulation, or something else? 3. Start with the intro course. It’s designed to give you a simple foundation you can use right away. This is not about being perfect. It’s about practice. Ask questions. Share wins. Post what you’re noticing. Support other members. The more you engage, the more you’ll get out of it. Welcome to the DOJO. Welcome to The DOJO Method
Hey everyone, I'm Ira Hayes, co-founder of DOJO Air and one of your guides inside The Breath DOJO. Today we're starting with the foundation of everything we teach: The DOJO Method. Most people spend years training their body, but never spend a minute training the thing they do over 20,000 times per day—their breath. The DOJO Method is a simple 60-second protocol I use before meetings, workouts, presentations, difficult conversations, and any moment where I need to show up at my best. DOJO stands for: 🥋 D – Downshift Slow down and reset your nervous system. 🥋 O – Open Expand your lungs and create space. 🥋 J – Jumpstart Increase energy, focus, and awareness. 🥋 O – Own Take control of your state and your next action. Try it now: Take 2 deep breaths. Take 2 deep breaths with a small top-off inhale. Take 10 rhythmic breaths. Take 1 final deep breath. Hold for 5–10 seconds. Slowly exhale. That's it. The goal isn't to see how long you can hold your breath. The goal is to become aware that you can change your state in less than a minute. Your Challenge: Use the DOJO Method once today before: A meeting A workout A difficult conversation Time with your family Or before bed Then comment below: How did you feel before? How did you feel after? Remember: Breath is the fourth pillar of health. Let's train it together. #BestDayEver #TheBreathDOJO #DOJOMethod #BreatheBetterLiveBetter #MakeEveryBreathCount
