Last few weeks I got into these video's of David Goggins, I don't know if you know the guy but he is a navy seal and all about discipline 🫡 While he might be a little too extreme for a lot of people (me included), there is a lot to be learned from this guy. I recommend watching one of the podcasts he's in on YouTube, I'll paste one below.
But every evening this guy spends 2 hours stretching and 2 hours meditating - that is a 4 hour block every evening that he is working on his body and mind! 😱 I deeply respect this and I am highly motivated by him. He swears by meditation to get "Everything organized" in his head 🧘
My opinion is, how extreme he might be, for a growth mindset or a certain calm one would like to achieve, we need discipline, discipline to sit every morning and evening and just breathe and sit still...
I am not saying that I am going to meditate for 2 hours every evening now, but what I am going to do is to cut some fluff out, and create more time and at least lengthen my breathwork sessions in the evening, because I truly believe in what he says, there are so many distractions this society we live in and we need to train the mind to stay organized and resilient.
I am curious, Is there something you can cut out of your week to take more time training your mind? and if yes, what would that be? Let us know in the comments below 👇
I really recommend watching this one, it is really inspiring and just take the information you need 💪
